Altec Lansing 2.1 Speakers - Feel the Base

The BXR1121 from Altec Lansing is a entry level multimedia speaker system aimed at home PC users. These speakers are of very high quality and with powerful in-built amplifier and wooden subwoofer with the speaker pointed at the floor, you can actually feel the base.

Whats in the Box

The BXR1121 comes boxed with a subwoofer and two shielded satellite speakers. The subwoofer has a power switch and a power cable at the back plus a cable to connect it with the satellites. The speaker is located at the bottom of the subwoofer and pointed at the floor. The right satellite has a 3.5mm stereo jack cable that will connect it to most PCs or MP3 players. It also has volume control and separate Base and Treble boost adjustment knobs. There is a 3.5mm stereo output port to connect external headphone plus an extra 3.5mm stereo input port to connect another auxiliary MP3 device. An iPod cradle is also supplied. This is a really complete package.

Sound Quality

Altec Lansing make excellent audio equipment. These speakers are no less. The sound produced by this set is deep and rich. There is plenty of volume and the ability to adjust the base and treble separately means you can control exactly how your music sounds. The peak power output is 30 Watt. The subwoofer design makes sound feel realistic. Use them for online gaming or a movie and you will enjoy the experience.
