Battery Removal

The battery is the hardest to remove. There are no screws holding it in place however there is no space to move it out. Every millimetre of space has been used and the unit is crammed together.

The only way to get it out is to loosen the circuit board and then push it out of the way and wrestle the battery out.

Start by opening the circuit board screws. There are four of these and they are longer than the screws you have seen so far.

This black one is neatly tucked away and removing it will also loosen the speaker connection plate. The plate cannot be pulled out however, so don't try to pull it out.

Do not try to remove the circuit board yet. The battery must be removed first.
